Lamina C A Woods-Ollivierre found her brand in 2011. She loves African culture and all things Afrocentric. When she enters the fabric store, she goes speed ahead to the African prints section. From sewing skirts, dresses and work wear her collection eventually grew. Later, she added quality handcrafted handbags and accessories to the brand. While on her handbag journey, she realized supplies were really hard to come by locally to give her bags the professional look she desires. Later in 2018, LCA Designs Craft Corner started. Main goal is to supply crafters with quality supplies for their hobbies and businesses. LCA Designs is for the Bold, Confident and Daring individual who is not afraid to stand out. “My primary mission is to make quality elegance affordable,” says Lamina.
